The IU Health Congregational Care Network partners with diverse congregations throughout Indiana to connect with their patients who experience social isolation and loneliness.
MISSION
To provide companionship through weekly one-hour phone calls over a span of twelve weeks to patients (called “Companions”) who are at home and are identified by the IU Health clinical team as experiencing loneliness and social isolation and who agree to receive weekly phone calls from a New Life volunteer (called “Connector”).
