After many months of hard work by a dedicated team of New Life members, the new church software system “my.newlife” has officially been launched. Through this new system, you can:
- Look up contact information in the online church directory.
- View your financial giving records.
- Find groups in which to get involved.
- See events you might want to attend.
- Participate in discussions.
- Meet the needs of others in our church community.
- Find volunteer positions based on your passions and gifts.
In addition to these great features for New Life attendees, the system provides wonderful efficiencies for church leadership and staff.
But to ensure the success of this investment, we need your help.
It is our goal to have 100% of New Life members and regular attendees sign up on my.newlifepca.org/wordpress and verify and/or update their personal information to ensure that the church’s records are correct. Follow these simple instructions to get started:
- Go to my.newlifepca.org/wordpress and click Sign Up.
- Fill out the information and if there’s a match for you in the system, your login information will be emailed to you. If there is no match, you will receive a login after the church office has verified your account.
- Once you log into the online community you will land on your personal home page. Click Go to my profile on the right side of the screen to view information in your profile.
- To edit information in your profile, select Edit profile under Profile Settings. To start, please verify the information under the Basic and Address tabs.
- As your time permits, explore and customize the rest of the tabs, including Serving, Social and Plugged In.
A help desk area will be set up in the breezeway after each service on May 1, 8 and 15 to answer your questions and help you get signed up. A series of help articles and videos also are available at the Help link in the upper left corner of my.newlife, or you can send your questions by email to support@newlifepca.org/wordpress.
As an added incentive, we are doing a prize drawling for everyone that updates their my.newlife profiles before May 22. Simply updating anything on your profile will automatically enter you in a drawling for Starbucks gift cards.
my.newlife Coming Soon

New Life is excited to announce the adoption of “my.newlife”, a new church software system that has great advantages for church staff, ministry leaders, pastors and YOU! The site will be officially launched in the next few weeks, but we want to introduce you to some of the great features that you can expect from the new software provided by the company Church Community Builder.
Through the new system, you will have access to a wide variety of church information in one spot. Log in with your email address and password, and you will be able to look up a member’s contact information, send a message about a particular need in your ministry, scan the church calendar for upcoming events or review your financial giving at any time – it’s all there.
For those of you who are technologically oriented, you’ll be interested to know that the system is web-based, meaning that it can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection – your home computer, laptop, and even your iPhone or other mobile device. Security and privacy of information is top priority for New Life and CCB – users are able to customize their privacy settings and all data is stored and protected on secure servers.
For folks like me who know just enough about technology to be dangerous, the system appears similar to social networking sites like Facebook. Each user has their own profile that can be customized with contact information, photos and personal information such as hobbies, spiritual gifts and passions. Your homepage is customized based upon your interests and involvement in the church, displaying messages, event information and calendars for ministries with which you are associated. Or if you are looking for ways to get connected, you can search for current ministry needs or volunteer opportunities that fit your gifts and interests.
And for those in our community less familiar with the web, don’t worry – we’ll be offering a number of opportunities to learn how to access my.newlife, keep your personal information up-to-date and get the most out of the system.
In addition to the efficiencies that the system provides to our church leadership, we hope that it will also serve to better connect members with the opportunities, needs and resources available at New Life. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office.

While Eric Clack has led the team for the last couple of years, due to various reasons, he will be handing over the leadership role to Becky McDonald. He will, however, still be a major contributor to the team with his God given gifts and talents. Thank you Eric for your faithful service and a big warm welcome and thank you to Becky for stepping up and taking on this vital role as team leader.
We are in need of some volunteers to help with graphic design and layout for a few projects we would like to accomplish this year. The communications team is responsible for all the outreach and effectiveness of print and electronic media such as the Lifeline, website, podcast, facebook, twitter and general publications related to reaching the congregation and people searching information about New Life. Please contact the church office with any questions and to join this exciting but much needed team to help us spread the Good News about Jesus Christ our Savior.

Welcome to New Life’s New Website

Welcome to New Life’s new and improved website!
As many of you know we have recently been changing and transitioning a lot. We just started Sunday School classes in the new building, there is new paint and carpet in the foyer, and we are thrilled to welcome you to our new website. The idea behind this new site is that it will be a catalyst through which we connect with each other more as a church, reach out to the community, and encourage one another. We have tried to make this site as user friendly as possible but still fairly cutting edge, so easy enough for those not computer savvy to use but still cool enough for the techies out there. On this site you will be able to access information about New Life, our staff and church leaders, the church calendar, current events, related videos, sermon mp3s, and regularly updated articles from staff and members of our congregation. You will also be able to comment on and discuss the various articles and events coming up, as well as subscribe to articles, calendars, and events so that you received email updates about their changes and activity.
Hopefully you will find this site exciting, encouraging, and easy to use. To receive updates via email when the site is updated click here to subscribe now, or you may enter your email address in the “eNews & Updates” box located at the top of the right column. When the site is updated you will automatically be notified by email. Or, you may subscribe to the RSS feed using your favorite RSS reader. Additionally, you can leave comments or questions on anything that you find interesting (comments will pond approval by site administrators so they will not appear automatically).
We are going to try and continually update the site with new activities, events, and articles so please check back often. We have just gotten this all up and running so there are bound to be some problems and correction to be made in the future, so please bear with us. Thanks a lot for checking out the new site and have a great day!
What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.
~1 Corinthians 14:26
